Micro-Mercantes

Micro-Mercantes is a cooperative of Latina women sponsored by Hacienda CDC.  The Micro-Mercantes participants sell tamales and other Latin American cuisine to help them afford rent, utilities, education, healthcare, and other basic costs.

To learn more about this incredible program and to order tamales before or after the East Portland Exposition, please go to www.micromercantes.com

Food choices include:  Traditional home style tamales and aguas frescas — traditional Mexican drinks made with fresh fruits and spices.
